What is Playback Theatre?

Playback theatre is a form of improvisational theatre

where audience members share personal stories, experiences, or memories.

A team of actors, often called 'performers,' then reenact those stories on the spot.

Through this process, playback theatre fosters empathy, connection, and reflection

by honoring the unique experiences of individuals within a community.
